Just because someone or something came through for you back in the day does not mean there is a current purpose for that someone or something. People make the mistake of holding onto everyone they have ever been cool with but not everyone has what is needed for growth to the next level. When you make excuses for dead weight you can completely hinder yourself by practicing loyalty to the past. Elevation requires peace from yourself and like-mindedness from others. It is not a requirement that you think identically as those around you but your levels of serenity need to be in sync. This is the foundation of elevating...the balance that recycles positive vibes.
