Women tend to agree to this "wifey" title with someone who still has active options and no active plan to actually marry us! Women are so guilty of these "ride or die" and "wifey" roles ...we give WAY too much because of love and/or great sex to boyfriends who consistently cheat, lie, and/or never buy a ring! Unless there are active plans for a honeymoon, HOLD BACK! If not, you won't have anything special to give to that man who WANTS to put a ring on it!
As women, we deserve more than being a serial-girlfriend; giving too much for too long to too many. VERY common mistake women make! Even if his actions "appear" that he wants more, if he is LITERALLY stating that he only wants a friend, BELIEVE HIM IMMEDIATELY! Don't poke around hoping your sex, your time, your cooking, your understanding, your money, or your attention will change his mind; that's how you get hurt, and you will have no one but yourself to blame.
If you're not in those trenches fighting the battle together, love will eventually become the war, leaving you heartbroken, every time.
Take back your respect and get what you DESERVE not what time invested convinces you to tolerate.
